Highly concentrated (80%), liquid, unhopped extract of Maris Otter barley malt for extract brewing and mini-mash method. Ideal as a base for IPAs and all British beer styles. Colour: ≤ 11 EBC (in a 10% weight/volume solution) This means that the colour of the wort is less than or equal to 11 EBC when you dilute this malt extract with water to 15 litres. The density of the wort is then approximately 1.032 SG. This table provides an indication of the specific gravity (SG) and the colour when you use the extract for other volumes. This gives you the opportunity to dose this extract precisely in your own recipes. Top tip: May also be used as a substitute for malt (use 75% of the stated quantity) or sugar (replace 50-100% of the sugar with 125% malt extract). What is malt extract?
