The system
One reusable shell, a new beverage bag for every fill
The beverage is filled into a multi-layer spear bag. Pressure acts outside the bag, keeping the beverage separated from the dispense medium. This changes the cleaning, handling and distribution workflow compared with a conventional steel keg.
The beverage stays in the bag
The bag-in-keg design separates the beverage from the pressure medium throughout dispensing.
Reuse the outer keg
Replace the spear bag for each fill while keeping the reinforced outer body in circulation.

FAQ
Before choosing a keg
Does the inside of the outer keg need washing between fills?
The beverage is held in a replaceable spear bag. The bag and spear are changed between fills, while the reusable outer body is inspected and cleaned externally according to the manufacturer's procedures.
Can EcoKeg be dispensed with compressed air?
Yes. The pressure medium acts outside the inner bag and does not contact the beverage. The installation must still follow the specified pressure limits and operating instructions.
Which coupler do we need?
Litebrygg normally stocks the KeyKeg-kobling. We can source other coupler configurations after checking your dispense system.
Which beverages can use EcoKeg?
The system is intended for beverages including beer, cider, wine and other drinks. Product characteristics, hygiene and the filling process determine the achievable shelf life.
